How The Gold Cube Concentrator G-Force Separator Works

By Marc Prinz

In this Gold Cube review I take a closer look at how the Gold Cube Concentrator G-Force Separator works!  The Gold Cube G-Force Separator is the second step in the Gold Cube process.  And it is amazing how it works!!!

The Gold Cube Concentrator has a brilliant design and an impressive 98% gold recovery.  I think the Gold Cube Concentrators G-Force separator is genius because is takes the surface tension off the water and forces the gold to collect at the top of the vortex matting.

How To Build A Sluice Box

How Michael Davis built a recirculating sluice box for gold prospecting
It was easy. You can do it too

My home-built recirculating sluice or highbankerOne of my many hobbies is recreational gold prospecting. I’ve been gold panning on my vacations for many years. It’s a lot of fun. It’s great exercise. I get to do it in really scenic locations. I have even found some gold. However, you aren’t likely to find a whole lot of gold by panning alone. To find a lot of gold, you have to pan a lot of dirt.

Welcome Stranger Nugget

The Welcome Stranger Gold Nugget

The world’s largest gold nugget was found just a couple of inches below the ground near Dunolly, Victoria, Australia on 5 February 1869. Weighing in at 2,315.5 troy ounces (72.02 kg) it surpassed the “Welcome Nugget” by nearly a hundred ounces. In this 1869 illustration published shortly after the discovery, the size of the gold nugget (61 by 31 cm or 24 by 12 in.) is compared to a 12 inch (30 cm) scale bar. The gold nugget was soon melted down into ingots and shipped to the Bank of England.

Sluice Box How It Works! Set-Up & How To Use A Sluice Box

Sluice Box! How it Works

Running a sluice box is one of my favorite methods of prospecting. With relatively little gold prospecting equipment to pack in, a gold prospector can move a lot of mined material and develop a good amount of gold concentrates in a day. Sluices also have the advantage of Proline Medium Sluice Boxbeing hand fed, non-powered equipment, so no gas to pack, no smoke to inhale and no noise to spoil a quiet afternoon on the stream, plus the added advantage of far fewer regulations. Powered gold prospecting equipment is fun too, but nothing beats a gold sluice box for production in lightweight,

Gold Cube Concentrator Review 3 of 3: How The Gold Cube Concentrator Vortex Mat Works

Gold Cube Review 3 of 3:
How The Gold Cube Concentrator Vortex Mat Works

By Marc Prinz

In this gold cube review I will talk about the vortex mat and how it works.

The Vortex mat is the third step in the Gold Cube Concentrator process and is very efficient.  I think this mat was a brilliant idea to add to the Gold Cube because of the Vortex mats ability to recover fine gold.  Vortex Mat is a gold getting machine! The Vortex Mat collects gold in each of its small cavities like a gold attracting magnet.

Now with the modern day gold rush happening and so many gold panning enthusiasts out there I get a lot of questions about what’s fool’s gold and what’s real gold.  Fool’s gold is known as iron pyrite or mica by gold panning prospectors. Fool’s gold looks like real gold and sparkles like real gold.  Many people get fool’s gold confused with real gold when they start gold panning. Here in Colorado it is very common for beginning gold panning prospectors to have found yellow gold paint chips in there gold pan from the street stripes and assumed it is gold.

Gold Panning for NuggetsThe gold pan has been around for many years and dates back to ancient Roman times. The primary purpose of gold panning during this modern day gold rush is for sampling. A prospector must sample an area to determine if there is gold in the ground before he starts working with larger more productive equipment. Gold panning has become a great hobby and loved by kids, weekend prospectors and everyone in between.  In this gold panning post I will try to show you how to pan for gold with instruction and a video.
